Definition of intensive: "activity involving concentrating a lot of effort or people on one particular task in order to try to achieve a great deal in a short time"
I have to say these are 'intense' but can be very rewarding for some people.
- Work commitments.
- Job opportunities.
- Limited time home from studies.
- Or simply you know you learn best when you are focussed on a task with a deadline.
Whatever the reason... you have researched this word 'intensive' and are wondering if I could be a good fit for you. I hope so, but certainly a few things to think about before you decide.
Let's start with a provisional license. This needs to be in your possession before you can have your first lesson - more info here.
Second thing is a Theory Certificate. Info on the theory test here - you must pass this before you can book your driving test!!!! It makes sense to have this passed before you even meet me. I'm not usually involved in this part unless you really need my help, there is so much useful stuff out there with the good old Highway Code and loads of apps to help you pass in good time.
You don't have to have passed your theory to start the actual driving lessons, but the sooner you learn your theory the better, it will only help you with the practical lessons. The Theory Test Centres usually have a 1-2 week waiting list. They can have busy periods though so check and set yourself a goal.
For your lessons with me, after talking everything through with you to understand your situation, I will structure the course by tailoring it to you and what you need. The Practical Test can be booked by you or me. Once we've agree on the course structure and a test date, then we can work out who should book it, etc.
The price for the course will then hinge on everything we've worked out between us. I don't offer one-size-fits-all prices, as I feel the best way to offer you value as well as high quality tuition is to work out a customised plan, as everyone is different.
